Members of 谢南多厄的声音 sing a dynamic range of repertoire written specifically for the tenor/bass ensemble. Students in this choir refine their vocal and musicianship skills while making their music accessible through performance and through engagement in the community. 我们致力于音乐, its role in the lives of ensemble and audience members alike and its ability to serve as a vehicle for shared understanding and positive social exchange. All tenor/bass singers are encouraged to participate in this non-auditioned group. Enrollment in 谢南多厄的声音 contributes towards completing the ShenEd (通识教育) elective requirement in the 创意表达领域 (CES).

He has served as chorus master of the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra and assistant director of the Houston Symphony Chorus and has prepared choruses for major conductors such as Ermanno Florio, 汉斯·格拉夫, 克里斯托弗埃申巴赫, 琼格洛弗, Stephen Cleobury, 罗伯特·弗朗茨和德克·迈耶. 罗宾斯 is a member of several choral organizations, including ACDA (previously serving on the executive boards of Minnesota ACDA and the Southwestern Division), Chorus America and the National Collegiate Choral Organization. Prior academic positions include the University of Minnesota Duluth (director of choral activities), the University of Wisconsin-Superior (director of choral activities) and the University of Houston (director of Concert Women’s Chorus and University Men’s Chorus).
